Symlink C:\Users and Program Files to another HDD
Hello,
To move the entire \users folder to another drive, this needs to happen during setup using an unattended file.
There will be some caveats to moving \users to another drive with an unattended file, one- you will not be able to upgrade with this scenario, moving without an unattended file would be unsupported and additional functional would be affected

There isn't any option to move program files to another drive, that would be unsupported, application may or may not work, OS components under program files may not update correctly when serviced.

Hi everyone. Quick question. I'm setting up a bunch of machines and I have a bit of a problem. Each one has an 80GB SSD for the operating system and then another larger hard drive for pretty much everything else. I'm wondering if I can move C:\Program Files
and C:\Users to the external drive, then symlink the directories such that C:\Users and C:\Program Files point to the respective directories on the larger drive. Is this possible? Could it lead to any kind of instability?
Oh, also, I obviously intend to move the directories while not booted into the Windows installation installed on the SSD. I'll do it from a LiveCD or a BartPE USB or something. There'd be files in use in the Users and Program Files directories.
Thanks
